The parade arriving from the north

Three Lamborghinis lead the parade. How awful must it be to get
the sand out of these cars afterwards!
All three Lamborghinis lined up leading the Parade. We were standing
at the U-turn point of the parade!

Alexia and Debora lead the parade with American Flags

A wonderful day at the beach for the parade!

Police cops from Miami Beach get the rare opportunity to ride on the beach
with their horses - special permission from the governor!
Here come the Polo Teams: The Tides team in the front, the Kreon team behind them
The Smith & Wesson Fragrance Team during the parade

the head of the polo club is, with which the ball is being hit.

The parade at the turning point

The parade is over, time for Isa, Nik and Trudi to pose before we head to
the polo field for Day 1
The "La Martina" fashion tent. La Martina is one of the main sponsors of the event!

The catering was very professional, great job!

A match goes 3 x 7 minutes. Horses are exhausted after 7 minutes
and must be exchanged.
After every break, a man cleans the dirt in the sand

The Audi Team in the VIP tent, they played against Smith & Wesson that day

Nice dresses, and the guys standing on the couch - ouch!

The VIP tent is very close to the action

David is probably the best polo commentator in the world!
In rare occasions, the polo ball can explode in the heat, which
happened right here
Time for me to show you what a polo ball looks like!
It is simply like a small football, inflated with air

In the evening, there was a reception at The Tides hotel.
This was great for me, since I stayed at that hotel and was just
able to step outside my room for the party.

A birdseye view from my hotel room to the outdoor terrasse, where
the reception dinner will soon take place.

A great view at night from downstairs

Another outside view at The Tides

The delicious shrimps buffet, which Trudi and I
visited several times :-)

Debora and Alexia. Alexia celebrated her 16th birthday after midnight!
A good reason to smoke a cigar and head over to the Mynt Lounge for partying!

Reto organized champagne for Alexia!

Polo Player Thomas congratulates birthday kid Alexia

Dancing on the couch at Mynt Lounge: Debora, Alexia, a friend and Lina.

We danced all night through and had a good time!
Look at this great champagne volcano!

The Mynt Lounge in Miami Beach, i was there! (but can't remember everything)
