Torn Ligament on left Foot

While playing tennis, I twisted my foot to the outside and
torn my ligament in my left foot. These are the pictures
the day after the accident.

The Katonah Medical Center, where I visited Dr. Yasgur the next Monday

Because the injury was severe, twelve days after the accident I had
a so called "Morbus Sudek" where the foot counter-reacts and starts
a symptom close to "self-destruction", which slowed down the healing
process and forced me to take antibiotics.

With crutches at the Tribeca Grand, where I stayed for the last few
days of my assignment to New York

Each night the Tribecca hotel put a bucket of ice to my room! Not for champagne,
but to cool my foot :-) Great service!
