Casa Casuarina
Miami South Beach
November 30th 2005

The "Casa Casuarina" is located at 1116 Ocean Drive in Miami Beach and
was owned by fashion designer Gianni Versace. It became famous on July 15th 1997,
when Gianni Versace was shot dead on the steps to this Miami mansion.

Now the Villa is owned by Peter Loftin, has been kept the way
Versace redesigned it, and is restricted to private members-only and parties

This night was dedicated to thank all the great friends who made
the "Art Basel Miami Beach" such a great event in 2005, and
hopefully for many years to come! Art Basel Miami Beach has
become the second largest art show on earth and is the American
sister event of the biggest art show, the "Art Basel" in Switzerland.
A great piece of Switzerland in the USA!

Two days later we went with the Casa Casuarina hosts to
a great restaurant at the very south of Miami Beach, where
we met great boxing legend Evander Holyfield

While Isabelle and I would have been invited to join
dinner with them, but we decided to stay at the bar
and have a great conversation instead :-)
